I started my IT career in technical sales in the late 1990s and quickly developed a skill for explaining technical concepts in digestible language.
After a number of years I moved into IT support, network design & administration and software development. This led to a interesting opportunity as the Head of IT for a rapidly growing aviation company which provided ample scope to use my technical and business skills to manage complex implementation projects, software development programmes and strategic planning.
Following this, I spent 6 years with an IT solutions provider delivering strategic consultancy and technical design services to clients demanding the highest levels of IT service and support.
In 2016, I started Advise Consulting to help businesses obtain impartial and unbiased advise on IT strategy and solutions without having to wade through a lot of unnecessary jargon.
